Get ready for an exhilarating showdown as the Elite Women take to the course at the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) Final in Torremolinos on October 19 at 15:35 CET.

This final race of the season will be a special one, especially for our Olympic gold champion, Cassandre Beaugrand. To honor her incredible victory at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she will ride a custom Xelius DRS bike, featuring a unique design with gold leaf detailing to celebrate her triumph.
Great Season - great bike
Cassandre has been striving for excellence on Lapierre bikes since 2020. For her outstanding performance at the summer Olympics in Paris 2024 we want to reward her with her custom Xelius DRS. The golden leaf on the frame symbolizes her gold medal and the greatness of her performance. On the top tube the inscription "Queen Cass" is a tribute to her new status as the leader in the cosmos of triathlon. Cassandre has rewritten history of French Sport since she is the first olympic gold medalist in individual triathlon! She will have a huge influence in the discipline but also inspiring future generations, spurring them on to give it their everything!

On the hunt for another title
The highlight of her exceptional season includes two victories in WTCS and the e Olympic title in the individual category, and she is currently at the top of the world ranking. Cassandre is in the hunt for the WTCS world champion title, which she can claim this Saturday at the final WTCS event in Torremolinos (Spain). To achieve this, she will ride her new bike, «Queen Cass.»
Results
As Olympic Champion and current leader of the board Cassandre was starting in first position. She started very strong in the swimming only realising after a while that she swam towards the wrong buoy and overestimating the current. Slightly panicking Cassandre managed to push even harder and find her comeback to the pack. When she came out of the water, she already regained many places and started cycling together with her strongest opponents. It was in the second running lap where Cassandre fired away leaving nothing but dust behind. She finished first with a very strong gap of 38 seconds to the following athlete. Cassandre truly showed that she is the world's finest female triathlete at the moment. Not losing her head after the rather unfortunate start, but fighting hard and giving her all for the World Champion Title! Huge congratulations to this excellent season and this outstanding performance at the WTCS 2024!
